Babies see high contrast images first, particularly those in
black and white.
This mobile will mesmerize your baby from around 2-3 weeks
of age. The 2 levels help your baby learn to focus at different distances,
while the motion as the mobile moves in a gentle breeze or to your touch lets
baby learn to track moving objects.
How to bring this mobile to life for your baby
Hang it over a changing table. It will help calm your baby
through those first changes.
When your hands are full, blow on the mobile to make it
move.
As your baby gets older (around 6-8 weeks), attach a
soft ribbon to the mobile. At first you can use a cloths peg to loop the mobile
around Baby's hand. Soon your baby will learn to grasp the ribbon on her own. The
look of wonder on Babys face as she learns that moving her arm will move the
mobile is indescribable.
If your baby is at that grizzly I dont want to sleep, but I
dont want to be awake stage, try wrapping her and leaving her under the
mobile for a few minutes. She will often tune in to the mobile, then slowly drift
off to sleep.

Tested
|
Not only does it conform with child
development research findings, but weve gone out in the field and made
sure that babies really love it. We first tested this product on our own
babies, then took it into baby health centers to get the expert opinion of
a wide range of babies. Several small changes later we have this
one. |

Battery
free
|
Remember the days before plastic toys
and the need for batteries? This mobile moves under baby power, or in a
gentle breeze. |

This
is the mobile you can take anywhere as it folds flat, and weighs almost
nothing. It is so light you can attach it to the roof of a car or stroller
with almost any sort of clip. It is an easy way to make your baby feel at
home in a travel crib or other unfamiliar environment. |
|
Green
|
This mobile is recyclable, and has a low
environmental cost of production. |
|
Responsible
|
No sweat shop labor went into making
this product (ok, we confess our children may have helped cut up the
string, but we do feed them chocolate in return). |

Décor

|
This piece of nursery décor is an art
work in its own right. There is a link below that will take you to examples of Tinas mobiles

Assembly
The mobile collapses flat, so you can take it anywhere with
you, and comes in a handy storage pouch so it stays in mint condition
All you have to do when you first take it out of the box is
cut the string to length (a measuring scale is provided), knot it through the
holes, and suspend it.
