Development

Large Body Movements
* Sits well, stretches forward for toys, turns and moves head while sitting
* Crawling, pulling up, cruising around furniture
* Walking
* NB some babies bottom shuffle - a normal variation.

Small Body Movements
* Increasing refinement and dexterity of pincer grasp (finger and thumb)
* Obsessed with picking up tiny things like the fluff on the carpet
* Can hold two objects in one hand

Vision
* Still stares a lot to absorb new information, sights and sounds

Hearing and Speech
* Turns to soft noise either side of head but may be unable to work out where the noise is coming from if noise is overhead
* Long strings of musical babble that sounds like a foreign language
* The odd real word might pop in

Social and Understanding
* Shows moods - happy, sad, anxious, angry, excited
* Generally sociable, playful and delightful
